The Sacramento County Department of Child, Family and Adult Services provides health and social services to families and seniors throughout Sacramento County. To better serve the community they consolidated employees and services from two other smaller locations into one large facility. The move almost tripled the space available to serve the public including meeting, training, and visitation rooms. It was important to the County to maximize their investment, so they chose Herman Miller. The proven durability of the product and the ease of reconfigurability made it an easy choice.
Herman Miller AO2 workstations, Canvas private offices, Everywhere tables and Cosm chairs were used. Choosing one manufacturer throughout the building gave them the ability to match finishes throughout the space and create a cohesive look. It also provides their facilities team one point of contact for all future adds, moves and changes and service needs. MTA has been servicing Sacramento County for over 40 years.
