Since 2018, MTA has been working with the UC Davis Design and Construction Management to create and refine spaces across the largest campus in the UC system and a top-tier public university. MTA has contributed to the transformation of notable spaces on campus, such as the design of a lounge space for the Mondavi Center, a prestigious performing arts venue that draws visitors from across California. Additional lounge spaces for students and faculty include King Hall, Sproul Hall, and the Engineering Student Design Center.
MTA's expertise in higher education settings is shown across campus in classrooms and labs, including projects in Thurman Hall and Kemper Hall. These projects are thoughtfully created through the wealth of research-based planning and the diverse portfolio of products and services within the MillerKnoll collective. This research is extended to designing private offices for faculty members across the UC Davis Campus. MTA also assists UC Davis with ergonomic furniture and storage solutions across campus.
Because students are increasingly mobile, creating compelling places for working, studying, and engaging with peers and faculty plays a key role in student success. MTA has built a partnership with the UC Davis Design and Construction Management Team through frequent communications to ensure that their furniture needs are always met, from large projects to day-to-day furnishings
